Have you ever been with a guy with horrible looking feet? Sure, he has a nice face, but those toenails are looking pretty green. Yuck.
17 home remedies for pretty feet
Although many people aren’t interested in feet, at the same time, you want to have a nice-looking pair of paddles, right? Even if no one notices when you have pretty feet, at least they won’t be grossed out because you don’t. So, try some of these tips so people might actually start to admire your feet.
#1 Embrace your feet. Love your feet. They have their imperfections, but they’ve taken you this far in life. If you think your feet are ugly, get over it. You need to love them. That way, you’ll actually want to take care of them as opposed to covering them with socks and hope no one peeks at them.
#2 Go easy on the heels. If you wear high heels every day, you’re not doing your feet any favors. You can wear heels, however, try to minimize wearing them as much as possible because they’re very hard on your feet and lower back.
But, don’t worry, you can still look cute and fashionable by wearing a lower heel or a cute ballet flat. [Read: Feet fetishes – how to incorporate feet into your sex life]
#3 Wash your feet daily. Your feet spend a lot of time sweating in socks, and that doesn’t lead to pretty feet. They also get dirtier than any other part of your body. So, wash them daily. If you can wash your feet twice a day, that would be ideal. Wash them in lukewarm water and dry them with a soft towel. Think of them like a baby – be gentle.
#4 Weekly foot soaks. Who wouldn’t want to have a foot soak? They’re so relaxing. Fill your bath with lukewarm water and put in a quarter of a cup of Epsom salts and a couple drops of coconut oil. This will smooth and soothe your feet after a long week of work.
#5 Exfoliate them weekly. You know those people who have the soles of their feet as thick as molasses? Yeah, that comes from not exfoliating. By exfoliating on a weekly basis, you reduce the risk of developing calluses or corns – both look highly unpleasant. Soak your feet for a couple minutes and then use a stone or pumice to remove dead skin cells.
#6 Moisturize. Soft feet are pretty feet. You probably think your feet are resilient to wear and tear, which they are. But if you want your feet to look baby-smooth, you’ll need to moisturize.
Have you ever seen cracked feet? It’s because they’re not being moisturized. So, before you go to bed, take some time to moisturize your feet. You can even wear socks over top to help allow the moisture to soak into your feet. [Read: 18 ways to look pretty and sweet and catch his eye]

#8 Daily “feet time.” Take some time out of your day to give or get a foot massage. Not only do feet massages feel amazing, but they actually aid in improving circulation, relieving inflammation and help you get a better sleep. If you spend five minutes a day on your feet, your feet will thank you.
#9 Don’t pick the cracks. Yuck. This definitely won’t lead to you having pretty feet. If your feet are dry, they’ll probably start cracking. Whatever you do, do not pick the cracks. I know it looks bad, and you think that picking the skin will help the situation, but it won’t. Instead, moisturize your feet. You’ll notice a difference within a couple of days.
